Who knows more about what happens on the pitch than The Groundsman?
Correction-
Who thinks they know more about what happens on the pitch? Exactly.
It’s life through the eyes of the football fan with the best view of the match and the longest memory for greats gone by. From overviews of the English Premiere and Championship League action to the latest happenings from the MLS, The Groundsman hears all, and sees all- and if the information piques interest, you’ll find out about it in here.

Comment by gwenyunderpants April 5, 2008 @ 11:24 pmHonestly Gwen, I don’t think the sport will ever become “America’s Past-time” or anything, but it’s current popularity is pretty encouraging.
I think the national teams are going in the right direction though. At this point, I think there’s a chance for the US Men’s team to win a World Cup before England does.
I guess we’ll have to see. Thanks for reading!
