“Pour mon pote” Franck Ribery and his shirt

The writing on Franck Ribery’s shirt reads simply,

“For my friend Hicham and Mr. Gilardi”.

It wasn’t the ostentasious celebration Sepp Blatter had been looking to stamp out when he made shirt removal a bookable offense, but nonetheless- it was a yellow card.  For those who’d like to know, Gilardi was a French television football commentator.  He died the night before the France-England friendly, and the French team wore black armbands in his memory.

No, I don’t know who Hicham is- possibly a personal Morrocan friend of Ribery?
